Old Mountain Valley Farms is a producer of gourment food products, combining old world culinary connections with today's eclectic fusion of worldwide cuisines. Although we have a new website, our products are the same.
Our company was founded almost 20 years ago. For several years, it produced and marketed apple-based products exclusively. During the past 10 years, the owners developed a popular line of mustards and salsas under a different brand name. They are pleased to combine these product lines under their Old Mountain Valley Farms label, and offer them via their website, through several small gourmet shops, and at special events, festivals, and farmers' markets.

We do not have a retail area; however, we invite you to visit us at one of our "Retail on the Road" events - arts and crafts shows in the region, where we showcase our foods and offer samples.
Our only permanent location is at Eastern Market on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. Our space is along North Carolina Avenue on the North side of the historic market. We are there most Saturdays and Sundays all year round. You may reach us there at 301-906-4442.
The three distinct styles of mustard have similar uses, based on your own preferences. Each has its own ethnic heritage, from the Germanic Bavarian Beer Mustard, to the creamy British influenced country Mountain Mustard, to our version of the classic French Dijon Mustard.
Salsas are Spanish for "sauces" and are an important aspect of food preparation and enjoyment in several cultures. Our interpretation of these three salsas is based on many visits to the Southwestern U.S. and Mexico. These are perfect for an instant appetizer, or combine well in preparing several different dishes.
At the moment, we only have the spicy Basil salsa in stock. The other two, Fire in the Valley and Roasted Green Chile, are in production.
